Reflecting on a year of generosity

Dear Friends,

This year, at the Fundacion Paso del Norte, we deeply reflected on what it means to embody generosity. It was another year where we witnessed that every act of kindness, no matter how small, creates a ripple that transforms lives. Being generous is more than just giving; it is about being present, extending a hand, listening, and building. It is in this daily reflection of solidarity and commitment that we discover our decisions as a Foundation have the power to ignite new possibilities within our community.

Therefore, we remain committed to being an organization that invests talent, time, and resources to build networks among the community, programs, and organizations. Throughout our years of work, we continue to be inspired by the results of this vision of collaboration and the recognition of the power of generosity.

We deeply thank every donor, ally, organization, and individual who participated in our programs. Your trust, time, and generosity are the driving force behind everything we achieved in 2024. Thanks to you, every effort multiplies and transforms into health, well-being, opportunities, and community.

Spotlight 2024

This year was filled with remarkable milestones that marked a turning point for our organization. Below are some of the most meaningful moments from a year of impact and generosity.

01

Investing in Our Community

In 2024, we mobilized more than 26 million pesos across the community through programs and designated funds managed by the Foundation. These resources directly supported over 30 nonprofit organizations to advance their projects and initiatives in the community.

02

A Community in Action

Our annual campaign, Juárez en Acción, brought together more than 18,000 Juárez residents who participated in over 30 community projects across the city. Our community organized clean-up efforts, space revitalization activities, volunteer work, recreational and sports events, and holistic wellness initiatives.

03

The Power of Ideas

We supported the fourth edition of MyMachine, a program run by Desafío A.C., where four “dream machines” imagined by children were brought to life. Forty university and students of technical programs dedicated over 3,300 collaborative hours to turn these creative ideas into reality.

04

Reto superado

Eight organizations took part in our 2024 Challenge Grant (RETO 2024), where they developed fundraising campaigns and received matching funds for each donation. This initiative brought more than 3 million pesos back into the community through programs and services.

05

Shaping Transformational Leaders

We kicked off the third cohort of REALIZE, a unique leadership development model. Eighteen leaders from local nonprofit organizations began a transformative experience that will leave a lasting impact on their lives and their work.

06

The Power of Working Together

We reaffirmed our partnership with FICOSEC to continue the “Entrelazando Redes” Strategy. Together with FECHAC, we supported five organizations and their prevention and services programs, benefiting over 2,500 individuals—mostly women, girls, and adolescents—in the Riberas del Bravo community at risk of gender violence and child sexual violence.

07

Reflections of Generosity

Our annual gala, “Reflections of Generosity,” brought together more than 200 allies, donors, and friends of the Foundation. It was a heartfelt celebration that raised critical funds to continue advancing our mission and deepening our community impact.

08

A Celebration of Philanthropy

The third edition of Juárez Giving Day was a remarkable celebration of philanthropy and social action, with 23 organizations taking part. Thanks to contributions from the community, the Foundation, and our partners, over 1.8 million pesos were awarded to participating nonprofits.

Real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present.

- Albert Camus
